How did these crocus bulbs escape the squirrels?
If winter comes, can Spring be far behind? Due another 5 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow BUT .... have planted onion sets, sown parsley, lettuce, spring onions and carrots ---- plus scattered grass seed on all the bare patches - a la Baltimore tradition - hoping the cold snow, the nice melting, and the rapid warm-up, will get everything off to a good start!
Pansies standing by to be planted by front and back doors ..geranium and lemon verbena overwintered - not going outside for another month though!
